At the University of Jena, three standard instruments are used to carry out the student surveys. The subject areas of the three survey instruments overlap, so that changes in assessments can also be mapped during the course of study.

Evaluation moment

Bachelor: in the third to fifth semester enrolled in the field of study

Master: in the third to fifth semester enrolled in the field of study
Teacher Training: in the fifth to seventh semester enrolled in the field of study

at the time of the graduation close to the de-registration (also in case of dropping out) four to six years after graduation

Rotation system

rotation in coordination with the faculties, polling per field of study every four years continuous polling, analysis depending on the need of the fields of study and in case of sufficient data continuous polling, analysis depending on the need of the fields of study and in case of sufficient data, maximum every three to five years
