The surveys on the teaching and study situation take a look at the overall concept of a study programme: From the organization of the study programmes offered to the counselling and information of the students to the competences acquired during the course of study and the future prospects of the students. In contrast to the evaluation of individual courses, these surveys, here referred to as student surveys, assess the overall offer in the context of the individual study organization and combine it with suggestions for the future design and further development of the study programme.
At Friedrich Schiller University Jena, three types of surveys are regularly used as part of teaching-related quality development: Mid-term Surveys, End-of-Study Surveys and Alumni Surveys (learn more). The implementation of these surveys is anchored in the evaluation regulationsExternal link. The surveys serve as central quality monitoring instruments within the framework of the system-accredited de quality assurance system of the FSU Jena.
