Declaration on accessibility
About
This accessibility statement applies to the surveys of the Coast Survey System, which is developed by the Central Office for Teaching Evaluation (ULe)
As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we strive to make our surveys and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
The accessibility requirements result from §§ 3 paragraphs 1 to 4 and 4 of BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of § 12d BGG.
The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment according to the legal requirements and global standards (EN 301 549, BITV 2.0).
Based on the review, the surveys are partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following exceptions.
The content listed below is not accessible:
- There are no additional accessibility functions.
- Not all control elements have alternative texts.
- It is not always possible to determine the order of headings programmatically.
- Not all iterable elements are represented as lists.
- The contrast requirements are not always met.
- The changing of the distances between paragraphs can lead to a loss of the visibility of some survey elements.
- The temporary restricted appearance of the number of remaining characters in a text field cannot be changed.
- The surveys may contain sections that cannot be skipped.
- Not all visible labels are part of the accessible name.
- Not all HTML elements are used in their correct syntax.
- Not all controls have a name, role or state that can be determined by assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers), e.g. for expandable areas.
- In the case of user-defined settings, not all functions and contents are consistently recognisable and usable.
Justification
The Central Office for Teaching Evaluation is constantly working on improving its surveys and, due to the lack of personal, has not yet been able to make all content and services digitally accessible. We are endeavouring to remove all hurdles for people with disabilities in a timely manner.
